Process

Process | Each step, in order

Working with ffffff design usually runs: enquiry, meeting, site measure, planning and a quote, drawings and a budget review, contract, the build and progress updates, then handover or opening. The emphasis is a clear conversation, a layout that fits, a quote that lists items and the programme, and a build you can follow — so you are not left guessing where the job is.

Four stages

01

Talk: the aim, and the limits

Reach us by the form, by email, or by phone. The meeting is there to settle:

  • The type of space: home, restaurant, shop, office, or something else
  • The problem to solve: a full fit-out, part of it, taking over a shop, reinstatement for a tenancy, an opening date
  • A sense of budget, and anything that has to stay

The point of this stage: both sides share a picture of what success is.

02

Planning: a layout, then a quote you can read

After the site measure, we propose a layout and move toward a quote you can read — item prices and the programme, so scope, money, and time line up.

What you should be able to see: not one vague total, but which item is which, and roughly when it happens.

03

Design: materials, the scheme, and the drawings

ffffff design issues the scheme for materials, the spatial language, and the drawings. The point is:

  • A scheme that belongs to this use, not a template
  • Drawings and materials that can direct the build
  • How it looks and whether it can be built, considered together
04

The build: a programme, supervision, and a check on progress

After the contract, the job goes on site to the programme. The site is supervised and progress is checked. We meet you at the points that matter, and problems are raised early, through to handover or opening. The build is carried out by the 新晞工程 team.

Ten steps

  1. 01Enquiry, online or by phone

The type of unit, the scope, and how to reach you

  2. 02A meeting

The aim, the dates, and the conditions that are not optional

  3. 03Site measure

Real dimensions, and the limits of the site

  4. 04Planning and a quote

A layout direction, and a first structure for the price

  5. 05Interior drawings

The scheme, the materials, and the drawings

  6. 06Budget review

Items, prices, and the programme, listed

  7. 07Contract

    Scope and responsibility, in writing

  8. 08The build

    Work as agreed

  9. 09Updates

    Progress, and coordination on site

  10. 10Opening or handover

Inspection, handover, and the space in use

On a more complex job — a restaurant licence, or a minor-works application — some steps run alongside each other. We say so in advance.

How the quote and the programme are set out

Does the price keep rising as the work goes?

The aim is to list items and prices at the planning and budget stage. If the site reveals something hidden, or you change the scope, we explain the effect before you decide. It is not absorbed in silence, and it is not used to pressure you.

How is the programme set?

The programme is written into the quote and the contract papers. It also depends on when the site can be worked, material supply, approvals, and whether drawings change. If a restaurant or shop has an opening date, say so early.

What helps to have ready

  • The address, and a rough plan if you have one
  • Reference photos, or a direction you like, for ffffff design to read
  • A list of what must stay, and what must change
  • A budget range, and the date you are aiming for
  • If it is a tenancy, a takeover, or a licence: the current position and the papers, which can follow later

Common questions

Do I need a full set of papers for the first call?

No. Enquire and meet first. Papers follow at the measure and planning stage, as they are needed.

Can I ask for a rough price first?

Yes. A sense of budget and scope is enough to start. A quote that lists items and the programme usually waits until after the measure and the plan.

Is design and the build the same team?

ffffff design carries the service as one line. The build is carried out by the 新晞工程 team, and the person you speak to is named.

Can the design change once work has started?

It depends on progress and on materials already ordered. A change can affect price and programme. We assess it, then confirm it with you.
